It looks as if Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Black Widow in a new film from Marvel, as she’s been hired to star in the upcoming Black Widow movie. The film will not be called “Black Widow”, but is now officially known as “Black Widow”, with a title song by Sia.
Marvel’s biggest star Scarlett Johansson and the would-be blockbuster action hero Tom Holland are set to play a couple in a new romantic drama. The film, which has the working title The Front Runner, was written by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Johnson, who reportedly has worked on the project for the past two years.
After almost four years, she stepped out in public to attend the birthday party of her friend and celebrity stylist, Jason Wu. The brunette bombshell has been keeping her private life quiet since she split from her husband, movie producer Kevin Costner. It was rumored that the couple had problems in their marriage, but these claims were denied by the actors.
Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans have been together in a number of films. Without a doubt, they are most known for their roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These are “Black Widow” (Natasha Romanoff) and “Captain America” (Steve Rogers), who have one of Marvel’s most well-known team-ups. The actors are also close friends in real life.
Both of their Marvel careers seem to be coming to an end. At least for the time being. Many fans were disappointed at the seeming conclusion of each of their “Endgame” character arcs. There may have been greater expectations of resolving such problems on the big screen at one time.
However, this may no longer be the case. Especially since Johansson and Disney have been at war since the studio’s dubious launch for “Black Widow.” According to reports, Disney has reportedly shelved any further projects with Johansson. That hasn’t prevented Evans and Johansson from collaborating again in the future.
Both are scheduled to appear in the film ‘Ghosted.’
According to Yahoo and CinemaBlend, Johansson and Evans have joined the cast of “Ghosted.” Apple Studios and Skydance Media are set to distribute the film. However, it’s unclear if it’ll be a full-fledged theatrical release. Or if it will be released in a limited capacity, first just for Apple TV+.
There have also been little information revealed about the plot of the project.
However, rumors suggest that it will be an action-adventure romantic comedy. Something along the lines of Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner’s 1984 film “Romancing the Stone.”
Evans is also one of the film’s producers. Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are also said to be producing the film. Wernick and Reese are also working as a team.
As screenwriters, in their instance.
Aside from “Ghosted,” Johansson was recently revealed as a member of an ensemble for a Wes Anderson film. There hasn’t been a public announcement of a title or even a storyline. However, the film has already generated a lot of attention. Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks are among the cast members.
Johansson has previously been nominated for two Academy Awards.
Evans has been working on a variety of other projects as well. He’s poised to star in Disney’s forthcoming animated film “Lightyear,” despite not being blackballed by the studio. He also co-founded the website A Starting Point. Designed to promote civil debate on public issues and the development of bipartisan solutions.
Prior to Marvel, they had worked together in previous films.
Their professional connection goes back to before they were Marvel characters. “The Perfect Score” was the start. The plot revolved on a group of adolescents and their ill-advised and complicated attempt to cheat on the SAT test.
The film “The Nanny Diaries,” based on Emma McLaughlin’s book, followed.
Johansson plays a nanny for a troubled upper-crust family, while Evans plays her love interest.
