What is AirTag and how does it work?
AirTag is a small, coin-sized device that can be attached to any object. Once attached, the AirTag broadcasts a signal that can be detected by any iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.5 or later. When an AirTag is in range of an iOS device, a notification will appear on the screen alerting the user. Tapping on the notification will open the Find My app and show the location of the AirTag.

When an AirTag is in Lost Mode, the owner can see its current location and get regular updates on its whereabouts. The owner can also leave a message on the AirTag, which will be displayed when it is found.
How to add AirTag to second phone
- If you have more than one iOS device, you can add your AirTag to any of them. Just open the Find My app and tap on the Devices tab. Then tap on the Add button and follow the instructions.
- You can also add your AirTag to an iPad or iPod touch. Just open the Settings app and tap on the Find My tab. Then tap on the Devices button and follow the instructions.
