There are a number of authors interviewed in The Secret DVD, including Mike Dooley, Bob Doyle, Hal Dwoskin, Lisa Nichols, Marci Shimoff and Neale Donald Walsch. One of The Secret law of attraction film stars, philosopher James Arthur Ray, has been under fire for the tragic deaths of two participants at his Arizona “Sweat Lodge” in 2009. Some participants paid up to $10,000 for Ray’s program, which included 36 hours of fasting and a “vision quest” exercise in the desert. In addition to those who died, 18 others were hospitalized with burns, severe dehydration, breathing problems, kidney failure or elevated body temperatures.
