February 5th, 2010

These people go on about how amazing the iPhone is.

Some time will pass.As an iPhone owner you will already know why it is best phone around.

You will probably be thinking one of two things if you do not yet own an iphone.

1. “I have to get me an iPhone”

2. “OK, I’m jealous now, you can stop”

The one thing you will most likely not hear an iPhone owner evangelising about is iPhone insurance

iPhone insurance is just one of those things you think about after the euphoria of owning your own iPhone has worn off a bit.

Your iphone comes home with you.it could be a while before you thinkg about it…

What if I couldnt find it and had to consider it lost?”

It might be a few more days before you think

“This is totally part of my life now – what if it was stolen?”

Or maybe you’re thinking “What if I dropped this into the bath and it killed my iPhone?”

And that is when you realise that your precious iPhone is naked, unprotected.

You wont be happy to pay out the £350 to replace it – but there’s more.

It might be days without your iPhone.

So how do you avoid all this – get iPhone insurance.

Some websites do offer iphone insurance so which is best?

What and why do you want covered?

You will most probably want to be protected against theft.Maybe iPhone loss in case you lose your iPhone. Damage can happen – and with insurance protection you dont need to worry too much.

You should think about water damage.Certain insurance companies do not cover water damage – but it is a big spoiler of phones.  1.6,000,000 phones were lost last year.

So where can you buy iPhone insurance?

Look out for overpriced iphone insurance in the shop.Despite the price being far higher, the staff tend to push it upon you because they get a commission.
